So I am going to be getting a new PC, and by budget is $1100, and after a lot of research and thinking I've narrowed it down to 2 builds. I'm not sure which one I should go with, so I am asking your guys opinions on them. I'm either going to go with an AMD FX-8320 with a EVGA 970 or an AMD FX-8320 with SLI EVGA 960's. So what do you guys think, improvements, comments, recommendations?

Both look good, I would upgrade to 16GB ram and get the FX8350. 128 gb ssd for windows, 970 looks great but that's just my opinion.

Like previously said, get a low capacity SSD 120-250GB seems to be the sweet spot nowadays for Windows and some of your apps. Quick question, why Win 7?

Win 7 is just a personal preference of mine, didn't like 8 when I used that and 10 isn't really my thing. And it's sounding like I should look into a SSD, the read/write is pretty impressive, so I'll have to do more research into it. GPU wise which one would you go with, I'm torn between the SLI or not.

Go with a single gfx card more reliable. not all games are optimized for SLI.

Unless you're running multiple monitors, it isn't really necessary. I picked up a GTX 960 for a good price, a 970 isn't terribly more I think.
