Admins

Hey community, I am relatively new here and was wondering if there is a way to contact server admins to kick AFK players (when no admins are present on the server). I play generally in the morning PST and over the last couple weeks it seems a good amount of people have been complaining on our 24/hr Avalanche server about the number of AFK players at any given time. If anyone can let me know if there is something I can do please let me know, it would be much appreciated.

Well at that time of the day our other servers usually don't have people in them, so cross server chat wouldn't work. But if there is admins in other servers you can use the & sign in team chat followed by your message.

Another option is to hop on TeamSpeak and check there. Usually you'll find one of the Euro admins on there and I'm usually on there at that time so just hit me up. Our TS3 connect info is here.

Also Jim don't be afraid to join TS to ask for help or to just say HI!, it can be a little intimidating at first with all the noise from time to time, but I promise we are all nice people and are willing to help.

If there is another member of G or O rank on with you, you can ask them to kick the players. You can also use the & symbol in chat to communicate across servers and let other members know that it needs to be taken care of.
If that is not a option, you can download teamspeak if you dont have it yet and use this address: ts3.edge-gamers.com to connect and see if someone who is able to take care of it is in one of the DoD:S channels.

I think that while typing you have to put the "&" sign in front and then your message to an admin. That's what the server is showing in the text thing from time to time. But i don't know for sure because i never have used it.

So actually i hope someone can clearify this

And another way is to add some admins/members to freinds. Then you can see if someone is online and ask if he/she is willing to help you out

The "&" thing works pretty good, there was an admin on the server in like half a minute

you can add the regulars that are admins on there as friends (or any admins really). they might not be in game.. but could be surfing the web or something and still logged on steam.
