Hey, bring back the 24/7 Stand server, that was dope.

I'll take the liberty and answer this for you.

The odds of the Strand server coming back is slim to none. The usual crew who played on the server left for various reasons, so the server sat empty most hours of the day. Anytime we tried starting it up, it would fill for about 30 minutes then empty out as people left. Filling it was the worst part because no mater how many players there were, someone on Axis would take the MG and camp the beach, causing the Allied players to leave immediately.

We even tried to add the map to our rotation server, and it was often met with the same fate, hence why it's no longer on the rotation of maps.

There are times when we load it up on the event server and open it to the public, and we've seen some good results. Unfortunately, they aren't results we're looking for.

TL;DR we took down the server because it always sat empty and was a pain to fill

Last i checked dods still has 3 servers that could use love... Ive tried to play kalt or donner but usually nobody is on. Avalanche is okay though its grown on me

Yeah, we're still having trouble keeping our other servers filled. Adding another server would do more harm then good.

hey as stewie said that the axis camp with the mg................so cant we just remove the mg class it shld be 0/0 so no mg in allies nor in axis so no camping...............therefore no allies will live............but to restart we need to get a lot of people n alot of events for dods .

Ava will always have people, but if you are willing to take the time and seed/fill a server, Donner will usually get hopping along and fill up. You just have to be mindful to not cap out constantly and be willing to even up teams if need be. Kalt on the other hand, is a little more difficult but can be done the same way.

We tried everything we could to keep it going and it just wasn't happening. There is such a small group of people who like playing that map that its not enough to justify having a mostly empty server just sitting there. As Stewie said, it's at the point that we had to take it off the rotation server because it would just kill it almost instantly.
