Let me start off by saying this game is half and half demanding. Know what I mean? My computer specs:

Processor: AMD Sempron(tm) Processor 3000+, MMX, 3DNow, ~1.8GHz (Single Core)
Memory: 1280MB RAM
Hardrive: 31 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GS 256mb

I run all low settings with about sub 30fps. I am sure this is caused by my processor, which is out of date by about 3 years.

Second. For some *random* reason my Internet did not work with CoD4 master servers. Wasn't my internet really, though. Was my Firewall (which was turned off!) Turned my anti-virus to the LOWEST possible settings and still nothing. I uninstalled my anti-virus program and it worked. Finally.

Third. Martydom (Is that correct? Martydrom?) Extremely annoying and just aggravating as all get out. The cheapest part of the game, which pretty much ruins it.

Fourth. Air strikes, Radar, Helicopters. The most g*y part of the game. Why in earth would they put air strikes in this game! Online play?!?!?! Give me a break! First you get radar so you can see where your enemies are (what the?), then radar helps you get an air strike so you can call in massive explosions directly on a spawn area, air strikes help you get a helicopter in which dominates your opponent through walls and even when you are in 4 feet of grass! This game is ruined, so much camping, so little teamwork. One man can dominate the battlefield while the team sits around doing nothing.

um, I think your processor is more than just 3 year out of date

Anyways, it's a new game, and you have a pretty thin system. The game itself would have already taken up about 1/7the of your harddrive, so unless you have absolutely nothing else on it, you might be running out of page file space.
 
i agree, the game turned into css basically

a bunch of show boats and no teamwork, plus allot of the people i came into contact with were complete jacka**es
 
That is generally my experience with most "realistic" shooters.

Dunno what it is about realism that brings out the punks.
 
Cause realism = hardcore or something like that. And as we all know, if you want to be hardcore, you have to be a punk.
 
1. Processor - upgrade now :D

2. Get a new Antivirus Program

3. Martyrdom sucks :P

4. I like getting air strikes and the like, it's a positive reinforcement loop for me, encourages me to not die after I make some kills
 
Well there are some things you can do... like play on the EGO server where we don't allow punks. Aim for the persons head at all times... if they hop you will still hit them in the torso.. and finally custom config files to help you gain FPS.

I have the game for PS3 and PC. PS3 version is a lot more tactical than the PC version, because aiming and moving is not that easy as it is with PC :D
Furthermore the PS3 Version has a lot more game modi it seems and allows only max 18 players per game.
