Using Ventrilo

I think all e, eG, and eGO team members should get into the habit of using ventrilo when playing in servers. The sound is much clearer then in game and you can adjust independent user levels. Thousands of teams use it, we should be no exception.

I like to push one button to relay a message to the entire team. I have vent, but I hardly ever use it. I just prefer using the in game voice comm.

I like Vent, but not for use in game. I find people often start talking about other things, and honestly, when I'm playing, I just like to play. I know it is nice for someone to be able to contact an admin, but I'm more than happy to answer any Steam messages. I like the voice chat in the game since most people only talk when needed too.

I find that most people will talk about anything on the servers, game related, or not. I just the like the idea of being able to hear "clearly" what my teammates are trying to say. I'm sure if someone mentioned to the channel to keep comments pertinent to game play, side chatter would not be a problem. Then again, I like the idea of everyone getting to know each other better, so side chatter is never a problem for me.
