So since Black Friday is almost here, its official that ill be getting the Samsung 850 EVO 250gb ssd. Heres where the dilemma comes in: I am wondering if its possible to copy ALL the files from my current c: drive (which is my current ssd, Samsung 840 EVO) to the newer ssd & then just switch out the ssd's to where the 250gb will replace my current ssd.
Will I actually have to wipe the ssd fresh & start brand new (even tho the ssd is really the only hardware thats getting an upgrade)? I will be honest and say that I havent studied the hardware market is over 6 months, so stuff can easily have changed. I dunno how the sata cables, let alone the motherboard, will handle the possible change...
