I beat it too dont give up go to youtube and see how to do it... its not cheating but people give you hints... it is good to finish the game it has a grat ending...

you say it is scary than ravenholm.....son i will have you know that ravenholm is just not right and there is nothing scarier than ravenholm....but of course the whole game is kinda creepy...i kinda cheated and used no clip on the last level in portal today...sorry if i let you guys down about me not trying hard enough but i just found no way to beat level 18

I beat it. Actually, I played it before I even fired up HL2 or TF2. I knew it was short, I'd been looking forward to something a little outside of the box, and It'd been a while since I played an FPS, so it was a good warm up game. Stay with it because it is definitely a great little game.

never beat it and i dont want to...to hard for my complex brain.....im thinking way too hard.....

example:

2 doors, 1 with loud sounds, other with turrets.

which do i take?

well turrets are easy but the game wont make it easy like that so take door with loud sounds..... but the loud sounds could be just nothing maybe just a electric ball bouncing up and down and i could die from it......

I know ravenholm is supposed to be scary, but it didnt bother me at all, and the last portal level was just well, i'm not actually sure what it was, it just scared the heck outta me

Everything was fun, up to the last challenge. I got so confused, it wasn't funny. But yeah, the dialog is great, so stick in.

I loved Portal. I played that non-stop for weeks when it first came out. The least steps challenges were so frustrating lol

trust me, towards the last few testchambers things do get tough, but its all worth the ending.

Oooo. I bought Orange Box just for Portal after trying it at a friend's house! It's the most original game I've played in years and the dialog is incredibly funny. Sure, it only takes like three hours to finish the first time through, but it's well worth it.

I just basically did all the achivements, doing a billion bunch of Portal related stuff and then stopped . So ... I had time to play TF2 and join eGO. YAY !

here is a dumb question about portal but...what genre is it exactly (ie...FPS...RPG....you know stuff like that)

Sorta think its a new type of game I've heard it mostly described, as a puzzle or adventure, which are mostly done from third person so this is rather new concept. First person puzzle/adventure. Either way it's a great game best dialog and best characters in a game in a while i believe. It just felt way to short hope they do another one.
