How long does it take?

When leadership sees the request and approves it. It took a few hours for me when I request a name change.

If you used this link, http://www.edge-gamers.com/forums/profile.php?do=requestusername, to request the name change, it should show the status of the request.
I'm not sure who all manages name change requests, although I'm guessing it'd be PSC leadership.
Either way, keep in mind that it may just be taking a longer time since leadership can be busy with various things, whether it be their leadership duties or aspects of life (school, work, family, etc)..that and if it is just PSC that manages name changes, they also had a few leadership changes recently
