Server issues

Those errors there you are referring to in those pictures have nothing at all to do with the server. The errors that you are seeing are left over from years ago when DoD:S was in beta. They do no harm at all, as for the rubber banding, lag spikes and sudden stopping and rag dolling, those are all on your end with your connection. There is nothing that we can change that will fix any of that on your end. Make sure you aren't running anything in the background you don't need to be or have anything else on your phone or families phones, computer or any other internet ready devices that could be gobbling up bandwidth.

I can assure you that nothing has changed internet-wise for myself. DODs used to run perfectly fine and with no errors, since always.
It's only recently this has occurred, and other persons have experienced the same issues too. So it's not just negated to my end.

If you checked the screenshots, you will have noticed that there is a error message for "weapon_ifm_steadycam". Now, I've checked the integrity of my game numerous times, and this issue still arises. It this, by any chance at all, related, or possibly related to a mod installed on the server, which "steadies the camera on weapons.".

In addition "#game_connected" crops up now and then, it may be a standard message, however I would assume connection issues too- possibly on my end, however as I say, nothing has changed on my end, and I'm not stupid enough to simply not do any diagnostic testing myself.

cheers!

Zer0 is correct, the errors and messages you see there are unrelated to game performance, and are ancient errors valve never cleaned up (cause it's Valve.)

What sort of internet speeds do you have? Are there a lot of devices running in your household at once? I get these issues every so often but thats because I'm on a college connection.

Weapon_ifm_steadycam is a client side error message. It has nothing to do with the server. I do experience these issues that you are having but only when my internet messes up and my ping spikes. After it stabilises these go away. I honestly don't know exactly what is causing your issues but for me it's always an Internet issue. Lastly, the #game_connected pops up when someone joins the server so it is normal and not causing your issues.

Alrighty,

It's just that this is happening constantly, and can get excessively frustrating- especially when it's hindering your gameplay.

In terms of ping, I usually sit anywhere between 120/130 to 150. Now this may be excessive, but other users e.g. Stalingrad, LondonBlitz and other Euro members, experience the same- if not worse- pings than mine.

Yes, ping spikes and these errors occur. However there stands to be no reasoning for this, as I've said plenty of times, nothing has changed since when I played DODs originally and this problem has only occurred recently.

As for internet usage, there's my phone- which isn't much of a user and that's that. My internet is pretty top-notch and, as I'll reinforce again, is still the same as previous times.

Everyone's connection and ISP is different, maybe they were moving lines, or adding more people in your area to the box, or throttling your internet because you downloaded too many things already for this month, or who knows. It can anything and everything that can cause you problems, just because it has worked fine since always, doesn't mean that it always will.

Looked at all the screenshots and everything is normal. the ifm message is left over from the beta and has no impact on game play in any way.

Reference Penguins post above. No one said you were stupid, but I wouldn't have been able to run a business if people weren't having brain farts here and there and forgetting they installed a new photo editing software that was uploading the 1 million photos they have stored up to the cloud in the background. It's 9 out of 10 times the small things that cause the biggest problems. If it persists do a trace route and see where it goes bad or call your ISP and see what they can do.

Also note, I was killed an additional 4 times, just to check this wasn't just a one-off. It wasn't.
