Honestly, Witcher 3 won GotY as soon as it was released. They did an amazing job on it, great graphics, quality content (audio, writing, assets, etc), wonderful optimization. No other game this year even came close in opinion. My next choice, even though I didn't play it would have to be MSGV. I've watched a play through and was pleasantly surprised with it.


Side Note: Undertale should of won Best Indie title, or at least some form of award. I never even heard of "Her Story" before the Video Game Awards. lol
 
Oh, it's got to be MGSV. Basically redefined how to do open world and stealth games. On top of that, it came out of the blighted hellscape of Konami...which alone is a massive feat.

I'm probably going to have to say Witcher 3, although I did not play it, the quality was through the roof.

Was released March 25, 2014, and thus is not a 2015 title.

Spoiler alert, Witcher won GoTY Honors. But everyone else I ask around at school are saying Fallout, mainly because it just came out and they are still suffering from PFRD (Post Fallout Release Disorder)
