I wanted to write up a thread about this awesome weapon in DODs if anyone was interested in improving their performance with it (in conjunction with the rocket).
It is accurate from close to medium-long range, vulnerable to distant MGs and snipers.
The gun has a small amount of recoil and can cycle very quickly, so the whole idea is putting as many bullets down range as quickly as possible to improve the probability of landing hits/kills/hs/surviving to run away and reload.
While Walking: @ close range, aim for head; @ close-medium range, gut or center chest; @ medium-long range, stop or crouch to be effective.
Standing Up: This decreases the effective range of this gun to medium engagements (say like the length of the kalt bridge + distance to their respective backing walls), so aim for sternum shots. You will land 2-3 hits fairly quickly this way. Aim for the head and you may get it, or just start missing for the entirety of the clip.
Crouched: This is where the money is at. If you crouch, the range is boosted beyond medium, and you can aim a little higher (neck) and most likely land headshots (100 dmg)
Prone: Don't do this...you're vulnerable to grenades and are effectively immobile
Recoil: The gun has a small amount of recoil, but can still mess with your shot in all of the aforementioned positions. Similarly to "rambo"-ing with the mg, you are supposed to pull your cross-hair downwards as you continue to fire, to counter the recoil. It is the same concept with this gun, except you only need to pull down slowly and smoothly [WARNING: If you can do this smoothly, it will look like you have no recoil on the gun which can be the target of a hack accusation]
Speed/Accuracy: How fast you react to targets, and how accurately you can move your cursor onto targets is up to practice. For speed of clicking, it's partially your physically ability to press your finger fast and can be aided with a better mouse. I'm using a Logitech M705 and the clicking pressure is soft so faster shooting is possible. DO NOT BIND YOUR FIRE TO THE MOUSE WHEEL, as this is considered an exploit and also a cause for being banned/accused/etc.
