Have not seen any post here in awhile. Was wondering if anyone is still playing?

How has the game improved so far after launch?

eh, If I could return it I would... main issues is you're going to have to pay for a couple of DLC's before this game is "Complete". Since I prefer infantry only game modes, the map rotation is small, and the maps themselves are small. I got about 20 hours into the game and I'm bored with it.

I'm so bored already.. I have 75/75 stars and multiplayer is boring unless I have a few friends playing..

As much as i was hyped and waiting for this, after everything, im going to pass on it

Waited on this game for years, but after playing a while I just got bored. Not worth buying IMO.

The first battlefront from Pandemic was my favorite game I've ever played. I was really looking forward to this game ever since Disney took over Star Wars. Once the beta came out I was so excited to play it. Once I played it though, I realized it was surrounded by so many glaring issues, the most being it was really boring to play. So I never really considered buying it after playing the beta. Plus $60 for a game that has no VoIP, no server browser, barely any single player modes, no class system, no squads or barely any team play aspects just really isn't worth it.

Well, it's my first Battlefront at all. I knew what I bought (after playing the open beta and after watching the angry joes' review). PepperRabbit is right but it is still fun from time to time. Origin is currently doing a 39,99$ sale on it - and that price is close to what it's worth. It is a mediocre game and I don't see me buying the season-pass atm.

Seems like waiting was the right call. Was trying to wait till the first real DLC but it seems like it's not worth it to wait that long.

Wish I had waited, the game is on sale nearly everywhere. I'm still playing it, my wife and I enjoy the co-op.

It does have a problem in that u cant choose ur servers
BUTT......I play everyday
SPECIALLY since I cant play BF2........Ive tried reloaden butt it keeps havein the same troubles 8(

I actually had it pre-ordered but cancelled because of the pre release reviews. Still can't decide if its worth it or not. Heard there was a cod feel to it, ya know, spawn, kill, die, repeat with nothing interesting in between.

I wouldn't have an issue with that, especially if it was CoD1 or CoD4. But with the AI, the different powerups, the complete royal screwing by EA when it comes to what you get in the game vs DLCs.. I'm passing on this game. Squad looks more promising to me.

Did anyone get to play it on Playstation 4? I've heard that it may be more adequate for consoles in the end...

In the end I decided against buying it. I was able to try it out for a short while and it just came up so short for me. Many of my friends who picked it up all have the same review: "Boring, repetitive gameplay."

I used to be a huge fan of the Battlefront series - loved Battlefront I and II, but once I played the alpha and the beta of Battlefront III, I already got bored with it and I knew it wouldn't be worth the buy. They got rid of the core parts of the game that made it fun - Galactic Conquest, a singleplayer/co-op that had actual mission goals, not just waves of NPCs, SPACE BATTLES? I mean c'mon, this is STAR WARS, not Battlefield. Getting rid of space battles was the biggest mistake IMO. So yes, alpha and beta was all the experience I needed to know the game was going to fail in popularity. The game also seems to promote lone wolfing, which is no fun.

Ironically, it made me feel nostalgic for Battlefront II which I had on PS2 before, so I bought it on Steam for $2.99 in the winter sale, and it's so much more fun than Battlefront III.

Honestly I would have paid $60 for a re-skin of Battlefront II rather than what EA put out for Battlefront III.
