Tech Help Asus G750J Fan and Heatsink

Has anyone had to replace one? Are they pretty simple?

Laptop fans and heatsink going defunct? Time to get a new laptop unfortunately.

Hi! Ask the asus tech support - they should be able to supply you with a replacement radial ventilator. The cooler itself should be ok since it's more or less a chunk of metal. Fiddeling inside those laptops is always a pain since you most likely end up in taking the whole thing apart. You need a set of those fine mechanical screwdrivers, photograph your steps, separate the screws (what screw was where..) - a permanent marker is also helpful for marking some parts inside the laptop (like cables etc).

If you have little experience working with small tools, basic electrical or electronic knowledge, you may have a hard time. Contact ASUS for the part, or ask about at a local computer shop. They may have an affordable option for fixing it too.
