Oh my sweet baby Jesus what a freaking movie. I'm still on an adrenaline high from it.

BUT THEY KILLED HAN SOLO

I mean, seriously, how can you do that. And especially from your own son? The emotional rollercoaster....

It was a good film. Much better than the prequels, however it didn't quite pass the originals for me.

My major complaint: Poe. I wanted more of him.

It was literally 11/10 for me. God it was so incredibly good

I'd put it at 8.5. I have a uh... google document around 2 pages from the major points that stuck out at me. It has some cursing in it, but I think we all felt that way at those points. I typed it out when I just got back from the movie, for the first time. Clicker Beware! Foul Language ahead

Ok, one question for you all. At the end of the film when everyone was waving goodbye to Ray(or what ever the spelling is), was I the only one that noticed C3PO didn't have a red arm like he mentioned literally 5 minutes before?

Yes, they don't mention or reference at all that he replaced his arm. Was a bit disappointed

Yeah, It was a great movie, but they killed Han Solo :'(. And if you think about it. If they make another movie they are gonna have to kill off Luke and Leia also just because the actors are getting so old. They need new actors to carry on the story.

LOVED the movie. Better better than the prequels, but I had problems with things, especially that damn BB-8 droid which I really feel was there to sell toys. It's very obvious Disney played it safe with so many of the elements of A New Hope being blatantly present in this movie. Still enjoyed it, urge all fans to go see it.

i seen it in imax, then 2d, then 3d with 3 different people haha

Just got back from seeing it. So Rey is Luke Skywalker's daughter...right? Like the movie basically tells us this

Side note, Ford has wanted to kill off Solo since the 80s. I guess that's why he's seemed so amiable during the press tour

Yes, she is his daughter

I gave it a 7.5/10. Some issues with the movie, basically a New Hope rip-off in a sense. Better than the prequels, but not as good as the original trilogy, IMO. First major issue I had was that they didn't do a good job explaining what has happened to the galaxy in the years between the Return of the Jedi and Force Awakens. That created a disconnect with the movie where I spent the first half trying to understand why the Rebellion is called the "Rebellion" again, and not the New Republic. Another small disconnect was trying to figure out who the old man was in the beginning. Had to google search that to understand his role in the universe at the time.

Other small details here and there irked me as well. "Half our fleet is gone!" reported one commander to Leia. Yeah the dozen X-wing's you sent out, so you mean six have been shot down... Why did they only send in three to sabotage/scout the Starkiller Base before the assault. Why couldn't they send in additional troops with the scout team to help like on Endor? You want me to believe that the Rebellion had a dozen X-Wing pilots, and 300 support personnel for them only, and not more than a dozen or so troops that we saw when Leia makes her first appearance?

I will say that I'm interested in knowing if Rey really is Luke's daughter, and if so, who is the mother?

I'm glad that Luke only showed up at the end of the movie. If there was anymore of him, then nobody would have cared about the new characters.

Yeah, the film does a pretty poor job setting up who the First Order is and why the Resistance is a separate entity from the New Republic. I mean, I know that this was probably covered in the books or comic books...but it's really poor storytelling to off-load world building onto material that 95% of the audience will never touch.

So whats your opinion on it broskittles?

i loved it. people are predicting it's gonna hit the 1 billion mark.

the only crappy thing is, like many other people have said, they should've buffed Kylo Ren's character. he almost got his ass whooped by a trooper. which, i get, you build character for the next money. and i disagree with the way he killed his dad. AND AND AND..how does HE, although I understand his training isn't complete..but come on..he can kill his dad **HAN SOLO** but he gets dominated by possibly the next skywalker who doesn't have any prior training in the force..for all we know, she's force sensitive and that's it. but it makes sense when she resisted his Mind Ravage and turned the tables and read his mind. I was like "OHHHHH S***! KYLO REN'S A SOFT ASS TEDDY BEAR!!" but im also over hyped as you can tell by the way im typing lol

i did sit on the edge of my chair and yelled "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO F***!" when his dad just fell off the cliff into oblivion. everyone kinda just looked at me LOL.

ITS NOT OFFICIAL BUT..Rey may be the next Skywalker..DONT JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS. :facewall:

and when we seen Luke at the end..CHILLS. omg.:drool::drool::drool:

i dont really fanboy about stuff..but starwars is my thing!
