Oh my sweet baby Jesus what a freaking movie. I'm still on an adrenaline high from it.

BUT THEY KILLED HAN SOLO

I mean, seriously, how can you do that. And especially from your own son? The emotional rollercoaster....

yeah i was pissed about them killing Solo. I rate it a 5/10 for a Star Wars film, but 10/10 for a scifi film. I mean seriously, they couldn't pick another plot? oh hey lets pick up this orphan on a desert planet who will then assist the rebels in blowing up a deathstar, i mean death planet... all of course after we pick up Chewie and Solo with the Falcon.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has reached $1 billion at the box office, reaching the milestone with record-setting hyper speed.

The Walt Disney Co. said "The Force Awakens" crossed the billion-dollar mark Sunday, accomplishing the feat in just 12 days. The previous movie to reach $1 billion the fastest was Universal's "Jurassic World," which did it in 13 days in June. "Jurassic World" also had the benefit of record grosses in China. "The Force Awakens" doesn't open in the world's second-largest movie market until Jan. 9.

It'll most definitely cross the $2 Billion mark before this is all set and done. I'm just wondering if it has the legs to beat Avatar's $2.7 Billion gross.

Alright, I FINALLY got to see the movie last night. Here's my thoughts.

I felt very reminiscent of the original 3 films. Was this bad? Not really. I would rather a Star Wars that felt like the older films, and not so much the terrible prequels.

My only real issue with the movie was recycling ideas. We've done blowing up planets 3 times now. Let's try something else.

If this is actually going to spawn into 3 movies, then I'm okay with it. I think it was a great movie overall, and from here they can branch on out really well. I'm excited to see Luke back in it as well.

Han Solo dying hit me hard though.

My only complaint has to be when Kylo Ren's face was actually shown... it wasn't Jar Jar Binks behind the mask.
