If you are still having this issue, and if you are running Windows Vista or newer:
- Open the Action Center (This can be found in the Control Panel, or on the Start Menu/Taskbar on the right side with the icon of a flag - right click the icon and click open Action Center)
If the Maintenance Drop-down section isn't already open, open it, then near the top click View Reliability History. This should bring up a graph of recent events, such as windows update installations, application crashes, etc. Application Crashes will have a Red X symbol, so look for a day that BF4 stopped working.
- Underneath the graph after clicking on a day that has a symbol on it on the graph, a list should come up. Look for the game on that list (Should be near or at the top), right click it, and click 'View Technical Details'.
If you can post the following it may help with finding a solution:
(If needed, you can censor/remove any personal details if its included)
'Faulting Application Path'
'Problem Event Name'
'Application Name'
'Fault Module Name'
'Exception Code'

And also your system specs (Video Card, Memory, Processor, etc)
