Admin Seminars for our European players

From reading the name of thread I believe that its mostly for eG but I would bet that nobody would mind me (e) coming....who knows maybe in the future i may become an admin
 
Anyone with unique needs PM me to setup a time. Classes are first come first serve with eG having first pick due to their need for admin.
 
yar the 12th at 5 is good with me now i dont ahve to work out what time u guys do it in the u.s which is always an odd time over here!! !lol do i need 2 sing any thing or what?!?

It is 40 minutes from now, at 5:00 PM GMT. I am told that GMT does not adjust for daylight savings, so be sure to double check your local time zone. The password is available at the password link on the right side of the website--it's our standard seminar password.

The seminar will cover topics that both =(e)=s and =(eG)=s should know. We want to make sure any European player who wants a chance to go can attend a seminar (don't worry, there will be more!).

We will be using the scrim server, Convoy, for the seminar: 72.232.207.99:27015
 
Thanks to all who came. We had a fabulous group of people there, some wonderful eGOs who were willing to help when I missed something and the class asked great questions. Thank you all for cooperating so well, going medic and not charging your medigun to reduce noise and coming ready to learn. This was a fun class to teach.

I wanted to apologize to a couple of members who meant to make this meeting but couldn't. I should have used 24 hour format, and a couple of our users mistook my 5:00 PM GMT for 5:00 AM GMT. For any who missed it but meant to attend. We will be holding more of these and we can send class notes to study as well.
 
yer was great sorry i was late had to go to a football game then had 2 have dinner so left early. is there a list of the bind commands any ware as I did not write them down coz I was messing around trying to get console working !! hope iv be abel to be tehre for the full time next time if I'm allowed! !lol
 
Thanks for every1 who was there, was a good meeting learned new things (not a admin yet but will defently help an admin out on servers.

Yup I was there (I am e) and it just touched on things that an admin needs to do.

Gave me new information i didnt know like tracing sprays,status and an admin menu i cant access =P
Had a good time there, better than stabing or sniping many people in sunset =)
 
yer i was there and it was a gd thing coz it helped me 2 deal with a situation on sunset town yesterday some 1 had a political name and they would not change it so they got kicked then came back and called us all racist and while the admins where dealing with that and the 2 ppl who were just sitting in the blue respwan i was sort of keeping every 1 else in line its great
 
yeah the staus and spray trace binds were particulary usefull. It's also nice to know what the boundries are and what is considered bad and what is good. Anyone that missed this i strongley advise to go to the next one if your even and e because its a real help.
