Tech Help rolling window

[I SURVIVED LONDON BLITZ]

G"day,
I am having a problem with my console. for example, when I do a "sm_who" or a "status" the window keeps revolving around and I cant stop it to see the info that I am after.
Being not a technical guy and already bald I cant pull my hair out so if you could tell me what you think it might be, could you please let me know.

It keeps going around and around like top down to bottom. so fast I cant read it.
So I cant use the console for the commands.
