Well the Oculus Rift pre orders start tomorrow at 11AM EST. I think I will be pre ordering only because of Warthunder a WW2 MMO. Really hoping Battlefield 5 supports this.... anyone else jumping on the pre order list?

Well I took the plunge.... the first 10 minutes or so I couldn't get their store page to load (probably overloaded) so it looks like mine will be coming in the April wave of release. I think the current release window is June for pre-orders placed now.

I wonder if they take credit card, my PC IS READY!

Their application told me my PC wasn't ready because of my USB 3.0 ports... which I have 3 of them!!! And also because my processor wasn't good enough, but it scores 2000 points higher then the i-5 that they recommend... worst come to worst I will just get a USB 3.0 PCI card, as I'm sure my 8 core AMD CPU will run it just fine.

Waiting my self most likely for the second iteration of it with a more bare bone kit. The price seems stiff but you do get a lot of stuff with it. Just nothing I would want with it.

Played around a lot with the DK2 and the tech still seems meh to me. One of the biggest draw backs to me is still the cord.

Yeah wireless would be nice. I figure if I hate it there will still be enough demand at the launch time I can always flip it and make back most if not all my money.

A buddy of mine got one of the dev kits when they first started coming around to popularity. I checked it out and thought it was neat. I'll wait for more game support though. I'd like to play more than 2-4 games that I enjoy with it.

I really hope this will be something supported in Battlefield 5. It would be quite amazing to look up, while aiming your gun forward or to the side. That would really rock.

Exactly my hopes as well. I would love to see it for in the vehicles. Especially the heli.

I know one thing over the years, never buy the first version of anything. Maybe the oculus rift is among the few percent that are spot on and rock from the very first moment...
