Enable the Console in Game
Source Games
This applies for the following games:
Counter Strike: Source, Day of Defeat: Source, Garry's Mod, Team Fortress 2
In Game go to Options, Keyboard(option), Advanced... and select Enable Developer Console . Press OK then Apply.
Counter Strike: Global Offensive
In Game go to OPTIONS, GAME SETTINGS, Enable Developer Console(~) and select Yes.
Enable the Console in Steam
Right click the game you want to enable the console(steam Library), select Properties, select Set Launch Options... and type "-console", click OK. Now you have the console for the respective game.
Right Click Game -> Properties -> Set Launch Options... -> type -console -> OK
Taking a Demo
This applies to all the source games supported by eGO:
Enter in spectate mode, spectate the suspect and open the console in game(press the "~" button on the keyboard). In console type record "suspects name"(you do not need to use the quotation marks). Once you finish spectating the suspect and end the demo, enable the console again and type stop.
Open console(~) -> type record "suspects name" -> spectate the player -> type stop(to end the recording when done)
Retrieving the demo
Go to: Program Files (x86)-> Steam -> steamapps -> common
Select the game you recorded the demo and the respective folder:
Counter Strike: Source -> cstrike
Counter Strike: Global Offensive -> csgo
Day of Defeat: Source -> dod
Garry's Mod -> gmod
Team Fortress 2 -> tf2
And you'll find the demos. They are the .dem files
