Announcement [PSA] Source Engine DLL Exploit

Word has gone out the there is an exploit on any Source engine MP game (TF2, CSGO, CSS, L4D1&2, DoD:S, ect.) where if the server owner wanted to they could install any file to your computer. This dose not include GoldSrc games like HLDM and CS 1.6. No detail will be given on how to do this but for your safety please only join valve servers or other trusted servers (i.e. Official eGO servers)

No this ones new and founded about 4-5 hours ago. That other one was only for Source SDK 2013 MP games like No More Room in Hell and was fixed with a beta_test update. This one includes all Source games.

Eh, I find it hard to believe that an exploit that's allegedly been there since 2003 and somehow hasn't been discovered until now would then be revealed by "a source engine developer friend" to be brought onto youtube for everyone to see.

So while possible, I ain't afraid of no ghost.

It was safe to play on eGO servers with the previous exploit, it's safe to play with this exploit(if true) on eGO servers as well. Just play on trusted servers and official Valve ones(Comps, DM, Casual, etc)
