Fun on ctf_sunsettown

[RESPAWN]

I logged on to eGO tonight to see that Dustbowl #2 was running some map named ctf_sunsettown. So, being a sucker for new maps (especially when they're on eGO servers), I connected and downloaded the map. And was pleasantly surprised. It's a really fun map, and was apparently created by <CC><shake n bake, who was on the server. Oh, and it helps my opinion that he gives eGO a shout out on a hidden wall.

A bunch of us had a good time, and I just had to post a screenshot of the aftermath of some carnage that Bubbles caused. I think she killed 4 or 5 people in one swoop.

Oh, and I can't resist posting another shot of a little Adviser domination.

I just finished talking with shake, and I think he said that Garden was going to put the map back up some time tomorrow afternoon, so I'd suggest giving it a try, if you feel like something new.

Yeah, not only is she a master of the mighty ban-hammer, but she packs a mean flame thrower too. Can anything stop this woman!?

I got some really sick spy screens for signatures from this map... although not everyone went spy when i requested it >.< thanks to EVERYONE else... don't you feel bad for not going spy now?

I dominated her last time I played in the server with her. That means I stopped her at least 4 times.

I enjoyed it a lot as well. It seemed really well balanced for all classes which I think is a bit of a rarity when it comes to custom maps. I was finding myself getting lost a lot though but I was also pretty tired so my brain wasn't all there. I definitely want to try it again and recommend that anyone else do so if they get a chance.

Can anything stop Bubbles? Yes. Apple pie. Set one out with some vanilla ice cream, and she will stop in her tracks and ask when we're having pie. I should make a spray of apple pie to distract her so I can even up that kill score...

I was on version one of this map the first time we put it up, and I had a blast with everyone testing it and giving Shake some tips on how to improve. Last time I played it was version six. It's an awesome map, incredibly balanced, and inspires gritty cooperation at the same time as stealthy solo endeavors. Play it. You won't be disappointed.

THAT was sooo fun today. I LOVE U GUYS LOL, that was soo much fun when it was full with 30 people for a long time, well sense its gona be up for a lil, im gona try to make a v7, which makes it so that u can only jump out the window farthest from the intel, and then the 2 windows in the one room extending out from the intel room, the windows will be smaller so u cant jump out. also v7 gona be optimized alot so people get less lag, so any more suggestions would be great and if you dont like my window idea let me know !!

Nice map shake, i've not really played it, i just logged quickly to download before going to work. it looks pretty good. Hoping to see it on the servers a bit later so i can actually try it with people in it.

The lag was my only beef with the map. Then again, it was only noticeable to be annoying, but not enough to disrupt my having a ton of fun.
