As you know I fly a lot . Since some several time people on our servers having issues with the baserape and the fact to follow a heli in the spawn after that it is off Is spawn , so this post is only to make sure we all agreed on the same thing .

Well on the regulation prohibits us from baserape regardless if these a infantry or a vehicle , however when the attack chopper is out you can follow him in their spawn and kill him ( AT YOUR OWN RISK tought because of aa ) . The why of this rule is simple ... if that wasnt for that rule you would be able to hide in your spawn forever attacking from far range ( like TV) .
So once your out of spawn ... your not safe anymore .

Sorry for bad English

Recently we agreed that once a vehicle was engaged in combat, they are not safe even when retreating into their base, however, if they are attacked the second the spawn into the vehicle in their base, that becomes base rape.

Also, you cannot fire vehicle weapons from your uncap unless it cannot be avoided

Once a vehicle fires, it becomes a legitimate target, regardless of where it is on the map. Choppers returning to uncap are still "in play", as are any armored vehicles. Vehicles can fire out of uncap at targets as they move out. "Vehicles may not camp in the Uncap". That said, if you spawn in the AA vehicle and an enemy chopper is just outside you may fire on it without having to move out. After engaging you would then move clear of the uncap.

This is one of those rules I had to macro and spam most times I play, because our rules do contradict each other, but the last rule clarifies the contradiction because "admins have final say on rules". That being said I do think some admins many pubbers are not aware of this because many servers opt to prohibit entering the uncap for any reason. If I am near the enemy spawn I will wait until they have left the uncap and even from the "red zones" near the uncap before firing unless they come out guns blazing. If they have a problem with that I send this exact text ("Helicopters may be followed and engaged in their base after initial take off.") and direct them to the drop box if they have an issue with that..

I agree this is the rule I most have issues with on Siege. Same with tank snipers. I tell them if they engage in any way they are live for a counter attack.

This rule gets a lot of players upset on the pursuit of a retreating vehicle.
"Do Not Fly Helicopters Into Enemy Main Spawn Bases or Uncaps"

I believe this rule should include an uncap in the language
"Vehicles Engaged In Battle Can Be Shot While Retreating"

Perhaps, "Vehicles Engaged In Battle Can Be Shot While Retreating to Uncap"

Either way it still contradicts itself. This is where we as admins need to clarify, which can be annoying, but it's the only way. Each server has it's issue with one rule or another and for Siege it's the vehicles in red zones, and heli chasing the other heli.
