People seem to either love or hate Turbine, but regardless of how you feel about the map, you probably have an opinion about capping on a 24/7 server
I like capping, but there are quite a few folks I respect that seem to feel strongly that capping is pointless on a 24/7 CTF server. There are pros/cons to both I suppose, but I have a difficult time seeing how it can be considered pointless for the following reasons:
Capping requires strategy, promotes teamwork, and helps keep the teams from being stacked.
When the topic comes up on the server I bite my tongue because discussing this sort of thing in-game is a distraction to gameplay. However, I am curious what the consensus is from my eGO brothers and sisters on capping!
What do YOU think? Capping:  or

- If there's no capping, there's no need to defend the intelligence; the engineer's role is diminished significantly.
- The game is becomes deathmatch which puts an emphasis on individual performance and devalues teamwork.
- The server's auto-balance feature is circumvented which prevents scrambles and can perpetuate stacked teams. If a team is stacked and you are capping, the condition shouldn't last long because the stacked team will win quickly.
