Was curious if there were any original Half-Life gamers still lurking around?

Oh how I remember back in 1998 when I first sat down in the chair and played the game for the first time.. smh .. Oh how it evolved and consumed a large % of my life lol...

I loved Half-Life, blue shift, and opposing force. I remember it was a game that actually required some thought to complete. Black Mesa is on sale right now, which is supposed to be a re-make of HL1 probably utilizing that new lighting we saw in Lost Coast. I will probably be picking it up. I love HL2 as well, they are all great games, I wish they would hurry up and continue the line.

I have Black Mesa and I got to say that they did a good job on it. It's slightly changed so that it isn't the exact same as HL.

That's good then The only thing that really stopped me from buying it last time it was on sale, was that I already have Half Life. But honestly, it has been over a decade now so I wouldn't remember everything anyway!

I used to play the original HL and its mods so much - having Sven Co-op release on Steam this week was such a trip down memory lane!

I don't think I've gotten into any game as much as I was into HL when it first came out.

Agreed, including with Sven Coop. Had a lot of fun with both while growing up, and now to see it (Sven Coop) on Steam should be interesting.
