Isn't it frowned upon to go recruiting on another clan or organization's servers? By that, I mean that it seems slightly offensive for a clan to be paying for server costs, and then have people from another clan barge in and then use their servers for the purpose of recruiting.

I would never blatantly try to recruit anyone on a non eGO server because I think that's somewhat rude, but if someone asked if we were recruiting I would point them to the website.

No one in any way is allowed to recruit anyone on someone else's server. Like Hoostrax said. It is offensive, and that is not why they have their servers and why we have ours.

We do road trips from time to time, in which are just going into other servers having fun, but when you become an eG, you'll understand that.

No way. If they ask what clan I'm a member of, I'll tell them, but that's as far as it goes. It's rather poor form to recruit on anyone else's servers.

That isn't fair, for example...

An eGO joins a server and asks somebody to join eGO. And there's an administrator, of course he'll do something.

Ok, you recruited that guy. And this admin went to our server. He tries to recruit some people and an eGO kicked him.
Then, he came back.. saying, "Why did you kick me?! Your fellow member was recruiting on my server!"..
See, what I'm saying?

So, don't even think about recruiting in other Non-eGO server..

Not in game no, it would not be proper. Best way to get yourself banned from that server is by illicit recruiting.

If i see a potential candidate that i get along with, after the game and not during, i make sure i get him on my friends list and ask him to join me in our servers. It is the best way to promote our clan.

In our servers though, i always make sure our clan is promoted by vocal and written means.

I'd expect to be slapped with a ban for recruiting on another clan's server. Heck, I'd expect to be slapped with a ban from eGO when word got back that I'd done it.

On the off chance I was on a non-eGO, I wouldn't.

They are players on that server because they like it, and either they haven't heard of, or aren't interested in joining eGO.
