So I'm looking to build a desktop. I don't wanna spend over 1,000. Anyone wanna help me? Looking for quad core with a gtx card. I will need a case and all!

For the amount he is spending it's not worth saving on a budget FX CPU...

This is what I would recommend for a 1k build

If you are not a fan of AMD GPU's you can change it out for any 970 for around the same price and performance (mostly)

If you are hard set on 1k or need to add other stuff to the build like a monitor, you can cheap out a bit on the hard drives/ GPU (drop down to a 380/960) or cheap out on the case (I just really like that case)

Looks great, the only changes I would make would be swapping the 850 Pro for a 850 EVO as they are cheaper and the only thing you would be missing out on would be 6GB of storage and slower write speeds

Ugh... For the amount you are spending that build is kinda lackluster. From your first post you are still lacking a case, ram, and a DVD drive (You never listed what you were reusing from your current rig). You can also pick up Windows for a third of the price you are spending for it.

The build above the one you posted would be very noticeably better.

Looks good. Hope you don't use Sony Vegas to render any videos though because their nvenc support is crap.

Don't use that placed the order the other day. Ended up with 2 zalman coolers. I don't mind testing stuff.
