Sad day

Today is a sad day for all veterans, the world has lost an amazing father, son and a very special friend. John William Harrison died. He served in Vietnam with the 18th Military Police Brigade. He was a very special person to me since I also served in the 18th Military Police Brigade during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Once out of the military you always search for that special bond you shared with so few in the military. Once i met John I felt at home. It was like having a member of family returned to you. I know we are a World War 2 based gaming group but it is still a military game. I would like everyone to take a moment and remember what so few have done to protect and defend there countries and thank them for there sacrifice made.

My thoughts and prayers will go out to you and the family. My best friend for about 15 years is an Army Ranger who was in Iraq and Afghanistan. I cherish our friendship but I know the bond you guys share together is on another level. Thanks and praise to all the veterans. One Love!

God bless all Veterans from all allied country's. We would be in a bad state without them, we now all sleep at night for their loyalty. As an ex.Royal Military Policeman I know how friendships are forged.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you, the family, and your fellow soldiers and veterans.

I always find these a time to reflect on how much people give up to protect our country, their freedom, and rights, and truly appreciate the efforts of our various military groups that work tirelessly to do this.
