I'm back after a bad 2015/16 year.

I'm am so depressed right now. My computer PSU died 3 months ago. My Antec PSU was still under warranty and was replaced with a free Antec HCP-1300. When I turned it on, it worked for 2 minutes and my computer started to smoke. Antec sent me a bad new PSU which not only started to smoke, but it destroyed my Intel i7-2600k processor, two video cards and Asus motherboard. It took me nearly 3 months to prove my PSU killed my components and get my money back.

When I started to build my new computer system, the new Asus Z97-A/USB3.1 motherboard was DOA from Newegg. So again after waiting for a replacement; 2 weeks later, I got a new Asus Z97 Pro Gamer Mother board along with a i7-4790k processor. And I needed a new case since my old case was a cheap Alienware plastic case. I ended-up with a Thermaltake Suppressor F51 case for $78.99 plus a $30.00 rebate card. I wish I would have known about the Zalman Case Giveaways. Would have been nice to get one of their cases. There awesome cases. Saw many I wanted but couldn't pass up this Christmas Case deal on Newegg. Unfortunately, I had no way of getting on TeamSpeak or gaming on our servers since I only had a Tablet as a computer.

So depressed that since from November to February, I lost out on gaming with my eGO friends and all the great holiday deals I usually get every Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays on Steam. Anyway, I'm back in the groove now and just installed my free copy of Windows 10 today. Kind of freakish looking compared to Windows 7 Ultimate 64.Though I'll get use to it. I hope it works ok for gaming.

Terrible luck I've been having in 2015: Do you every ask yourself "Why Me"! I'm so unlucky.
Where do I begin::chair::cursing:
1) Roof leaking, got a new roof put on.

2) Got new skylights installed on my porch.

3) They leaked, had to rip the porch apart and put new one's on again.

4) Computer's power supply stopped working. Had it replaced.

5) The new power supply burned up my two video cards, processor and motherboard.

6) Had to make a claim on the warranty. Claim center says they can't find my claim contract. I said it's right here in front of me. Now I have to wait two weeks for new contract to be printed out to then file a new warranty claim.

7) Counter-top range stopped working. Repair man says the parts don't exist anymore. Weird, it's only 10 years old. Have to install a new counter-top stove.

8) Hot Water tank died two weeks ago. It's still under warranty. I have to wait two more weeks for new tank replacement. Amazing how much you take for granite your hot water until it's gone. Perfect timing since the wintery colder days are right around the corner. "Go Figure". LOL.

9) Had to run to the emergency room the other day. I have DVT: Deep Vein Thrombosis (Blood Clot) below my right knee. Have to stay off of it as much as possible until mid-March. On blood thinners now and still no gaming computer. I miss my friends in the B4 division.

10) Garage door not working properly. It goes down then goes back up. Takes me 10 or so tries to get it to stay down. Driving me crazy!

11) Floor board heater stopped working. Had to replace it.

Missed all the great clan giveaways of Zalman's great products. I am so cursed.

At least I was recognized from those who have been keeping an eye on me in B4 before my computer died. I got many earned awards for my battlefield life dedication. Thanks again for those who recognized my love for B4, B3 and all the Battlefield games I own and played since the very beginning.

Yeah, build a lower-end budget computer. Under $800.00. Good for now.

I had a break here and there, but something always brings me back!

$800 can still do a lot! It takes less than people imagine to get a good system running that can handle just about anything, so you'll be fine for a while! Eventual upgrade is always fun, a never ending project

I had a similar experience in this new house. I was running some wires and fell through the garage ceiling. There's a Johnny shaped hole still there. The oven board went out in my stove so I had to go without an oven until the replacement parts showed up. Also my PSU died as well. It smoked up pretty good but luckily it didn't take out any components. I think you're contagious friend.

Give you something to try to fix this. On the back of the Garage Door, there are two knobs look similar to screw ports. It controls how far down the garage door goes down. You might consider decreasing how far down the door goes, just a fraction of an inch or so. What could be happening is the door opener sees that their is too much pressure and goes back up.

Most modern garage doors do this as a safety feature if a child or something were to fall under the door, it wouldn't just keep pushing down on the door. By decreasing just fractionally how far down the door goes, you might be able to keep the door from going back up right away.
