The above title (under films) is based of a series of songs by HoneyWorks. The songs themselves tell the story of a group of high school friends and their relationship(s). Great music and storytelling with the songs alone. I'm really excited to see it as a film. I'll take a look later and post what other shows I will try to follow.

The list is strictly limited to new releases in Japan generally between March and early June. I actually have a BluRay/DVD release list somewhere. I'll see if I can find it and post that.

That was actually "One" episode. It's actually going to be either a three or six part (need to double check) mini movie series. For some reason a lot of places broke them up into "episodes".
We should notice, across the next set of "episodes", a lot of plot and character development.

This will sound crazy but I've never seen anime. Now I'm curious about it, what would be a good one to start watching, preferably something for adults?

Each person is different really. I would ask what type of movies and TV shows do you like? Also depends on what mood you are in, are you looking for non stop action thriller? Drama with some horror in it? Slice of life comedy?
I'm sure Mega and many other here can post a better list of some starter anime to watch, hell I think I seen an image here of a great starting anime list of what to watch to dip you feet into anime.

Chocolate is totally on the right track. Just like with movies or other media, genre is also very important. Some popular ones you might see pop up would be Monster, Akira, and maybe Legend of Galactic Heroes (an oldie but a goodie). That is taking into consideration anime targeted at a more mature audiences. There is actual a fantastic mystery anime currently airing under the name Boku Dake ga Inai Machi (The town where only I am missing). It is fantastic. I highly recommend it.
But don't let labels turn you away! One of my personal favorites, Tonari no Kanbitsu-kun (My Little Mosnter) has a primary audience of young adults of the female variant. Nevertheless, good quality will be good quality!
As for that list you mentioned chocolate, I'll grab it when I get home this evening. But it's a bit more general but always a nice place to start.

And one last thing, and this is very very very important! Japanese media has a lot more freedom on what is "accepted" compared to western media, on average. So in watching some shows targeted at adult audiences, you may notice some things that we may consider borderline, but by their standards is perfectly acceptable.

Pretty psyched for Uchuu Patrol Luluco. A Hiroyuki Imaishi directed series is always a reason to get excited.
