Hey Guys,

Our game studio just released our Kickstarter for "Days of War" and we'd love it if you would take a look and give us your feedback on the campaign.

Thanks for the kind words guys! If you can spread the word to friends/gamers that you know in DoD:S that would be huge.

Do you think I should make a post over on the general forums or just stick to the post here?

Like I said before, pretty rad looking. Please keep us updated! I'm sure a lot of us would be definitely wanting to try it, it seems you guys are motivated to finish too.
 
The trailer reminded me a lot of DOD:S. How does it differ?

It reminded you of DoD:S Cause it was Donner! Definitely looking forward to this one. If you give me a more or less updated version of DoDS you've got my money.
 
whoa! I got all giddy watching that gameplay... the arterial spray from those sniper rounds made the hair on the back of my neck stand up... I am definitely interested! I will kick in some dough.

Side note, it says there are 28 days left to hit the mark. What happens if you dont hit it? do peoples' money go back to them?
 
If the modding tools are as easy as they looked in that video, and I truly hope they are, then i'm going to be making so many maps and good stuff. Good luck and keep up the good work, you have the DoD:S division behind you!

We are heavily inspired by DoD:S but we are also drawing inspiration from our favorite games like Enemy Territory, MOHAA, COD2 and Battlefield which based on player feedback/testing could mean medic/ammo classes, British/Russian forces, 64 player close quarter maps and destructible environments. Our goal right now though is to polish the base game and get it into players hands sooner and then flowing into what feels like the next best step.

Yes, Kickstarter will only charge backers if the funding goal is met.

Well I simply cannot wait so I upgraded to the alpha level support. Release is April and it looks like they will easily meet the goal.
