Looks like a healthy start and should be funded. 40k after 9 days is pretty good. To be sure though I upgraded my backing to alpha level. I'd suggest as many of us get on board during the alpha phase as possible so we can influence the development in positive direction.

Upgrade backing to alpha also means getting your hands on it next month.

Also, please make sure you don't have the stupid reload animation where you cycle the bolt after reloading a weapon with a round already in the chamber like the current game. All that would do is eject an unshot round.

In addition, if you reload the Springfield or K98 before the internal magazine is empty, you don't have to reload all of the rounds. If you have only shot one round, you only have to put one more round in. You don't have to reload the full capacity.

So you want them to do 5 different animations for one gun? I'd be happy if they at least kept the count of the bullets correct and you didn't lose those extras.
 
Just put 59$ in that. I am so ready to play this. been waiting for an updated dods; this is the best we will get, looks like.

Maybe it's my foolish love of WWII shooters taking control of the financial decision center of my brain but I don't regret for one second spending this week's paycheck backing this. Probably the only thing I'll ever back but if it ends up being half as amazing as it looks I'm going to be one hyper little boy playing a shooter in the proper time period!

We are very happy to see that people with your experience is supporting Days of War. I hope it's the beginning of a new era for the old community dod (or perhaps dow community: D).
