Tech Help Suggestions on a good gaming Headset?

So i want to buy a gaming headset and my budget is $70 if you have any suggestions i would appreciate it if you left a repply on this thread, thanks <3

What im looking for is a decent mic, stereo sound and the sound quality kinda good.

Also i was planning on buying a Logitech G430 is that any good?

I would not recommend the wireless ones. I have them and man are they crap. The worst headset I have ever used.

I own the Forged edition and use them for music mostly, has in-line mic but works fine for me since im always on the go. Also helps my laptop's audio jack is one of those all in ones (like a cell phone) so it all just one cable and jack. The cable is swapable which is always a plus! A little pricey, I paid close to $300 so i didn't recommend them earlier.

I've been thinking about getting the USB one you guys mentioned for home so I can haz all the chroma!! It would match nicely with my Mamba Chroma TE Mouse and Chroma Keyboard.

I used to have a Logitech G430; now I use Sennheiser HD558 headphones and a seperate Audio-Technica AT2020 microphone.

That being said, for the price you pay, the Logitech G430 certainly wasn't bad at all. Durable and sounded good; great for gaming with the virtual surround sound. Good software that I had no issues with.

For a ~$70 budget, the HyperX Cloud (first recommended by Maserati) is honestly the first one that comes to mind for me. It's just a good all-around headset. The Razer Kraken also performs decent, however I would still recommend the HyperX. Keep in mind though that neither of these headphones have surround sound (and none or very few headsets under $100 do), so if that's an option you want, you're going to have to up your budget.

I have it but prefer my GSkillRipjaws SR910 and my CMStorm Sirus as a back up. Both are surround though. (yes that's my write up)!

I still use my Fatality headset of course when I'm in a scrimmage playing CS:S but I normally have on my Sades headset, very comfy as well!

I ditched the headset route and went separate headphones and microphone. Getting tired of shelling out $50-$80 every 12-18 months do to wear and tear (having kids who play don't help either). Bought a Blue snowball Ice

They sound amazing and are loud (keep them @50% volume). Great pair of headphones for the $20 I paid for them

I agree with CrossCheck.

Having a gaming headset has its downsides and when it comes to headphones and a desktop mic there are a lot of really good headphone companies out there as well as stand alone mics.

I have Audio Techinca Headphones and the Blue Yeti Mic.

Both of them will only cost 100 bucks each and if you get the Snowball mic its only 80 or something like that.
