Battlefield 4 graphics card suggestions

Every R9 380 (go for the 4GB version like: Sapphire Radeon R9 380 Nitro OC, 4GB GDDR5, 2x DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, lite retail 11242-13-20G) destroys the 960. Same price/cheaper. But needs more Power >120W vs 190W (Datasheet). BF4 and Hardline also have a Mantle path (I use it on r7 265) that is much faster than DX11, it is more like DX12 - and that you will never have in BF4 and Nvidia. Just saying.

I'm just going to go with the 960. I'm ok with the tiny fps drop for less power usage

Quite frankly I am a little shocked the 970 isn't mentioned in this article. I know he said 1080p at 60+ frames, which puts him in the 960 market. However, he did mention $250. If you can go like $30ish more, you could get the 970 and make it very futureproof.

The 970 has been identified as one of the best price/performance cards out there. You can constantly find them on ebay for about 270 or possibly 250 if you aren't too picky. Online retailers for about 280 if you can wait and search for a good deal. Jet.com you can get 25% off on first order (up to $50).
