PROBLEM SOLVED WITH UPDATED DRIVERS. I have optimum Ultra 50 service, which is 50 MB download speed. After having their techs out, the speed is coming through the modem and router properly. My computer is hard-wired. However, I am only getting 26 MB download speed on my computer, but I am getting over 50 MB down on my smartphone.
I have Killer e2200 Gigabit Ethernet controller (on my MSI motherboard), the software and drivers are up to date.
Any ideas on what the problem is and how I can correct it? NVM, DEVICE MANAGER LIED, UPDATING DRIVERS FIXED PROBLEM
