It's not bad don't worry.
You just need a power level of over 9000, and quite frankly, you didn't achieve that level. That's why your personal drawing is not on par.

I'd suggest coloring with more natural colors, and make the shape more rounded. Koala's aren't rectangles

Not the best hand drawn koala I've seen, but it's pretty good.
