Hi guys,

I've had this issue for a while and it doesn't seem to happen on any other servers. My ping will list as around 30-40, yet I get severe packet loss and rubberbanding.

I've opened all the necessary ports, my connection is stable, and I don't experience this on any other servers. It makes playing competitively almost impossible.

Anyone else experience this on eGO servers? I just had this happen to me in the CQ server but the Shanghai one is also notoriously jumpy sometimes.

Thanks

I do get packet loss, but nothing sever that disrupts me killing players. I do have notice few occasation that server rubberbands are severe and you telport back

Hey TheBigErf, there were issues previously (for the last week or two) but as of the last day or so there have been some routing changes made by the service provider who hosts the servers. The changes have for the most part alleviated the lag/packet loss issues. I haven't had any issues for the last day or so.

It has gotten bad enough I dont even play on our servers anymore unless all I want to do is die

Thanks for the responses guys. I played a round or so on the Shanghai Server and it seemed to be alright, knock on wood it stays that way.

yea was gonna do a test myself but our weather decided I didnt need to at the time. Thinking I will try it again this weekend sometime, see what the heck is going on

Yea I'm having issues also with rubber banding and major lag spikes. Other people in the servers have complained and noticed as well.

I am experiencing this too, especially in the air game. It has been going on for weeks and is making the Popular Maps server unplayable. Sad!

can you guys provide some information as to what maps and times plus any other information that was occurring during the lag or what was going on would be helpful. Just saying there is lag does nothing for us. We need to be able to reproduce and test issues. As for conquest and other servers over the last few weeks we have experienced several ddos attacks and updates on battlelog and from EA which could have caused issues. Recently we also had major lag due to massive amounts of new windows updates to our dedicated server. So again please provide time, server, date, how many in server, what server, what was going on at the time that you go lag, how long did it occur, how many times has it occurred, and other details like your ping, internet provider, etc so we can track down issues. Do a tracert from your computer command prompt to our servers to see if there are any ping spikes on the trace. Any and all information about the situation is great and gives us a place to start looking and working.
