Today on April 4th of 2016 at 3:45 am my grandfather passed away, a loyal husband and great father, a role model and champion for everyone. Stoic he would sit hearing all, yet saying nearly nothing. He was a Marine to his core forever and always faithful, His passing was not unseen his health had gotten worse as time had gone on, I wanted to share this quote on of my closest friends sent me in condolences.

"He's serving a higher command now... Hooah, hoora, huah, and semper fi my fellow brother in arms, rest in peace brother we've got the watch now."

Some reason it brings tears to my eyes, I love him always and forever.

I apologize Edge-Gamers I didn't mean to burden you with my post, I feel as though we are family and I feel comfortable sharing this here. They say it's good to share and speak of the passing of a loved one. Help you cope and to allow their spirit and memory to live on forever in all of us.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I hope your family, friends, and you can find peace in these hard times. Your eGO family will most certainly be here for you as well.
 
I may be USAF, but I can certainly help cover the watch. We are brothers no matter the branch.

Marines never die, they just go to hell and regroup!

On a lighter note, even though they may no longer be in this realm of existence, your loved ones are immortal. How? Keep your memories of them close, keep them in your heart and mind. They're never really gone, you'll see their influence everyday in your actions. Immortality isn't a right, it's gift left behind by those who we treasure the most.

sorry for your loss, both my grandparents were in the Navy, my grandmom died in her sleep one day, my grandfather lived in an appartment, people reported his mailbox was full (which was uncommon) so the police went to check on his appartment, they found the door hard to open, once they did they found him on the floor, the believed he had a heart attack from a static electrisity shock while opening the door.
