As far as the popping noises.... I'm pretty sure almost everyone's computer does that when they try to play Crysis... As one of the funniest game reviewers I've ever seen has said... "Crysis is apparently designed for some hypothetical future computer... from space."

On a side note, if you haven't heard of or seen Zero Punctuation, check it out. Some of the funniest and most off the wall game reviews I've ever heard. If you check it out though, be advised definitely NSFW... the language he uses a lot is... how should we say... COLORFUL (read: vulgar).

The clicking noise might also be related to the CD drive, I've heard of some people who got clicking noises coming from their LITE-ON drives while playing Crysis.

Personally I have a LITE-ON drive and I get no such problems.

Do any of you remember Dark Reign II? It was way ahead of its time, but suffered poor sales because it came out the same time as Quake III. That was a great RTS. I still have it on CD somewhere...

Wow. Just think of everything you're cutting yourself out of because of that narrow and disrespectful attitude. One of the greatest RTS games on the market now, StarCraft, is eleven years old, and it's that way because it was that good a nobody topped it.

I still go back and play games that I used to play 20 years ago. Just because my computer has a bigger hard drive and better graphics doesn't mean that those old games are no good.

i got all DOW cant wait for dow 2.. the gameplay and details are sweet... tau and chaos pwn xD thought eldar is also my personal favorite.. i also played all C&C exept for kains wrath and .... red alert 3 xD
