Built it myself originally. Had a local store help out with moving some stuff around/modify the case itself to add in some larger fans and such (mainly small things). Some more recent games don't like my 5 year old build, so some extra cooling goes a long way. Need to do a full upgrade soon, but that will have to be after I get back from Japan in mid 2017.

Just ordered myself a laptop for school though. It's an MSI Apache. i7 6700 and a 4GB GTX 960. Just for daily usage, not too powerful.
 
Built it myself, got all the parts at a local parts store. A few upgrades here and there since i built it in 2012.

For desktops, building it yourself is the only way to go really, unless you enjoy spending a few extra hundred :D

Works great for game like The Division and all the games eGO supports, so I cant complain.
 
One of these days, I'll get back to a home built rig. Right now though, need a laptop and it does the job well enough.
