Hey guys, I'm just wanting to know if anybody in eGO is an avid reader of comics.

If so what are you currently reading/enjoying?

I currently work at a comicbook store so I'm usually knowledgeable about what's new and what's coming out.

Uh, let's see. I'm currently following:

East of West
Saga
The Manhattan Projects
Hellboy in Hell (completely lost track of everything else in Mignola's universe)
The Sheriff Of Babylon
Sex Criminals
Lazarus

Edit: Oh, and Casanova of course

East Of West and Saga are personally my favorite image titles along with Deadly Class and Rat Queens.

I'm loving Tom King on Sheriff, he's about to start writing Batman as well.

Lastly I've heard lots of good things on Sex Criminals, what do you like about it?

For Sex Criminals, despite its admittedly dumb plot, is probably one of the most honest takes on human relationships that I have come across. It recently started suffering from the basic problems that every Matt Fraction series has...namely delays, long long delays. Also, the plots getting off track in some of the more recent issues. Overall though, it's definitely a series worth checking out.

Ahh, the good ol'days with hawkeye, the final issue didn't come out until the 2nd series was done with its first arc. I'll have to give it a further look I adored Sex Criminals first issue. Have you been paying much attention to DC? Rebirth is shaping up to be something impressive.

Haven't done much with DC since J.H. Williams III left Batwoman (GOD those first issues were beautiful). New 52 sucked me in, but the constant shifting of the creative teams really turned me off them for awhile.

I've been stuck in Image. They have such good stuff. Fiona Staple and Brian K. Vaughn are sooooo good on Saga. The Walking Dead is always amazing as well. I just gave Canii the first 12 issues of Saga... We'll see how she likes them :D

Honestly if DC left a sour taste in your mouth I suggest giving rebirth a chance, it's a return to form with 2.99 books while being twice monthly. Tom King is writing Batman. Batwoman is in detective comics, and pre-flashpoint Superman is back!
