I am a pretty active member on the ttt server and if you do not know I was scammed out of 140 dollars in skins. I will be sponsoring an event where I will give all of my skins away to the lovely members of ego. I don't have very good skins but it would make for a fun time so why not ego has done me well and I am glad to be here..
Note* if my skins are refunded by Friday I will stay but as it stand I will be doing the give away Friday

sorry to hear about the scam, don't give up though. There's always the chance to rebuild, if you need help just hit me up

Nahh you should stay and don't let game items get in your way of enjoying CSGO, unless it was no skins no skills like me.

This is why you shouldn't gamble it's never a good deal bro but if you need some skins I got you boss, just have to wait till I get my comp back

I appreciate everyone support but I cannot stay this has got me way messed up. It's really hard to enjoy the game now 3 days have passed since the scammingS and that's over 140 dollars in skins it might not sound like a lot but it definitely is a lot for someone like me.. Idk I am very swayed by this and I hope to get my skin back by Friday so I don't have to leave but it's really hard to stay when you loose so much money. Just remember if your reading this don't mess up like I did.

Dang man, sucks

GL

and remember you dont need skins to press "play" :)

howd you even get scammed. also

Im confused, so you're quitting CSGO? over virtual items? and giving away what you do have?
Nevertheless, you'll be missed

I'm pretty glad I had RedDragonKnight back around last year in mid fall. Other wise I would've been scammed of my first knife.

this is why i stick to strictly killing chickens in cs:go

You betted ? Because to be honest, '' Getting scammed '' is believing someone which you never should believe on steam.

a mate of mine got really luckey with betting and won over 1000 Dollar worth of skins with only betting 10 dollar.
Now Like most people he wanted more and lost everything in less then 10 minutes the following day.
This is why I never bet, I only bet on Matches on csgolounge and nothing else.

He didn't bet per se. He trusted someone he shouldnt have. Interestingly enough that user was banned from all eGO servers.

Pro tip: you have zero reason to trust the guy on the other end of the trade. You get multiple chances to confirm the contents using the steam trading system and you should use every one to make sure you're getting what you expect ( float value, quality, pattern, etc ). If you're doing a trade outside of the trade window then you should use a trusted middle man. Steamrep has the profiles of middlemen, just need to make sure the profiles match and it's the right person as there are many impersonators.

If you're doing a trade in an unsafe manner, then expect to get scammed. If you get scammed in the trade window, then there was a severe lack of attention when you confirmed the trade 3 times.
