Out of nowhere as usual.
I just wanted to say why I have been absent for so long, and if the absence will continue.
As many of you may know, my father passed away, but it didn't affect me, because I knew what was happening to him. I knew he was going to pass, so I accepted it. I spent time with him, and made final memories.
After my fathers passing, my household dwindled down to me and my mother.
My mother has been diagnosed with something called a "Deep Vein Thrombosis". This basically means that there is a thick blood clot in her leg, which isn't good news. A piece of that blood clot has broken off and flew through a blood vessel into her left lung and has created a "Pulmonary Embolism". This mens a blood clot has gotten stuck in her lung, and has essentially killed part of her lung. You sort of need your lungs to breath, so that isn't very good for her. She is taking multiple medicines to combat these clots, which has made her quite weak. I have been with her for every step, because I never know what could happen next. I don't know when I will return, but the chances are slim right now.
That's the bad news,
but I have some good news about my life too.
My birthday was March 11th, and I learned how to roller skate and ice skate with my friends, which was a great experience.
I have been invited to go to JCLC, a bootcamp for high school JROTC members. I am one of three freshmen on a team of ten from my school, so wish me luck.
I landed my first promotion a couple weeks ago, and I'll have a good paying job over the summer to make a bit of money and experience.
I took a tour a Embry Riddle, an University near my house. The chances of me getting a scholarship are pleasing, so I'm gonna keep up on my work and make my family proud.
I want to take a moment to thank all of you in eGO for keeping this community great and healthy, and for dealing with my eccentric and sometimes unacceptable behavior.
If, or when I do come back, I feel I will be much more humble and extraordinary as an eGO member.
That's about the last couple months summed up for you all to read, so uh, live everyday thankful for what you have.
