I'm stoked man, but I probably can't make it. We'll see! Hype.

Medviah, what is air?

Air is a music duo from Versailles, France, consisting of Nicolas Godin and Jean-Beno?t Dunckel.

Air's debut EP, Premiers Sympt?mes, was followed by the critically acclaimed album Moon Safari, the re-release of Premiers Sympt?mes, The Virgin Suicides score, and subsequently albums 10 000 Hz Legend, Everybody Hertz, Talkie Walkie, Pocket Symphony, Love 2 and Le voyage dans la lune.

Why is coffee disgusting?

Taste is the sensation produced when a substance in the mouth reacts chemically with taste receptor cells located on taste buds in the oral cavity, mostly on the tongue. Taste, along with smell (olfaction) and trigeminal nerve stimulation (registering texture, pain, and temperature), determines flavors of food or other substances. Humans have taste receptors on taste buds (gustatory calyculi) and other areas including the upper surface of the tongue and the epiglottis.

The tongue is covered with thousands of small bumps called papillae, which are visible to the naked eye. Within each papilla are hundreds of taste buds. The exception to this is the filiform papillae that do not contain taste buds. There are between 2000 and 5000 taste buds that are located on the back and front of the tongue. Others are located on the roof, sides and back of the mouth, and in the throat. Each taste bud contains 50 to 100 taste receptor cells.

The sensation of taste includes five established basic tastes: sweetness, sourness, saltiness, bitterness, and umami. Taste buds are able to differentiate among different tastes through detecting interaction with different molecules or ions. Sweet, umami, and bitter tastes are triggered by the binding of molecules to G protein-coupled receptors on the cell membranes of taste buds. Saltiness and sourness are perceived when alkali metal or hydrogen ions enter taste buds, respectively.

~~ Crunch ~~

Bitterness is the most sensitive of the tastes, and many perceive it as unpleasant, sharp, or disagreeable, but it is sometimes desirable and intentionally added via various bittering agents. Common bitter foods and beverages include coffee, unsweetened cocoa, South American mate, bitter gourd, olives, citrus peel, many plants in the Brassicaceae family, dandelion greens, wild chicory, and escarole. The ethanol in alcoholic beverages tastes bitter, as do the additional bitter ingredients found in some alcoholic beverages including hops in beer and orange in bitters. Quinine is also known for its bitter taste and is found in tonic water.

Why is Medviah bad?

Be warned: This MMO is extremely limiting to F2P users.

I bought the 10$ pack for only instant access. I'm currently level 124. It does not feel limiting at all, you just have to kill and search for quests. If you are playing with friends, the grinding seems like 10 minutes opposed to two hours.

The only limiting factors I've seen for F2P are cosmetics, experience boosters, and server shouting privileges. You DO get a maximum of 5 premium currency at 1 per 2 hours. You can also accrue this while offline.

One thing some might complain about is the ability to trade only if you have a token which can only be bought with premium currency or about 800K-1m in-game currency. The reason I don't see this as an issue is that item drop rates are decent for what you need, quests give you gear to match/excel in your current grind area, and there is an auction house. Sure, trading is nice when you want to give your friend something, but in my opinion that is taking away from their experience as you are giving them what they "need" in a farming situation.

Other 'advantages' some people might consider with the token are a small exp boost, small movement boost, and ability to use an account storage for all characters.

~~TL:DR~~

There might be more 'enticing' pay features in the future, but as of now, the F2P has by no means limited anybody's gaming experience.

Also be aware: This IS a Korean MMO. That means you WILL grind in addition to quests. There ARE incentives though to grinding/farming. I won't get into it here, but if you ask me I will.

Here's some information on the P2P side of the game since I know a lot of people will be curious.

TP

TP (Tree of Savior Points) is a premium currency used to buy special items and services. TP can be obtained in two ways:

Accumulated over time. Any time your current TP is less than 5, you'll recover TP at the rate of 1 TP every 2 hours, with a timer shown in your inventory screen. You also don't need to be online to gain TP, it will recover automatically while offline up to 5. You won't generate TP on servers that you haven't created a team name on though.
Purchased for real money. At the moment the real world cost of TP is unknown, but you'll be able to purchase TP boxes for your character, which can be opened to add to your current TP total. This means that you can leave the boxes unopened to continue to gain free TP until the time when you want to make a purchase.

You won't be able to purchase TP until the game officially launches, so for now you're limited to only free TP.

Here are the current costs of items in TP (will likely change in the future):

Soul Crystal (2TP) - If you have one in your inventory, you can resurrect in place if you die. Doing so consumes the gem.
Megaphone (1TP) - Allows you to send a shout message to the server.
Warp Scroll (1TP) - Allows you to teleport to any statue at no cost.
Character Name change (9TP)
Team Name Change (150TP)
Unlock new lodge skin (64TP)
Expanding Warehouse Space (20TP to add 10 additional slots)

In addition to these items, we know for sure that buying additional character slots will cost TP (you start with 4 slots and can add to a max of 12), and you'll also buy Tokens for TP.

Tokens

One of the items that will be available for TP is called a Token. Using the token will give you a series of premium benefits for the next 30 days. The token effect applies to all your characters on the server that use use the item. The token itself can be put on the market, which means you can purchase it from other players for silver. Playing from a participating netcafe in korea gives roughly the same benefits, which don't stack.

Here are are how tokens change what you can do:

Without Token:
Trade between Characters: Not Allowed
Buy Shop : Not Available (Aside from the free TP)
Max items on market at once: 1
Tax on market sales: 30%
Number of Attributes Learnable at Once: 1
Movement Speed Bonus: 0
Emotes: basic set of Static emotes
Experience Boost: +0% (excluding boosts bought with free TP)

With Token:
Trade between Characters: Allowed
Buy Shop: Available
Max items on market at once: 5
Tax on market sales: 10%
Number of Attributes learnable at Once: 2 (3 at a netcafe)
Movement Speed Bonus: +3
Emotes: 10 additional animated emotes
Experience Boost: +20% on all kills

An update: Due to issues with botting and system abuses, ToS has implemented a change to servers and systems causing the F2P start date to be delayed until May 10th.

We are working on getting something situated for tonight's event. Stay tuned please! <3
