EGO Division Clan

This was around 8pm , although there were people in game that were not in ts or not in our ts channel. Note , at this time the only channel with more people in it was counter strike. Battlefield had 3 more at the timer of the screen shot but if you did not count the muted or gone folks it had 4 less.

Battlefield, CS have more people throughout the day, The division channel maybe 2-3 hours it has 6-9 people any other time 1-2. The division is a good game it is haven't played it but I know a good game, but in a month or two everyone will be bored of it and move on to their divisions leaving EGO leadership with a division they have to dissolve.

Do you have inside info on this? Are you a psychic? Sorry but coming in here and admitting you have never played the game and then pronouncing a sentence that it will die is un-needed. This is my favorite game in the last 5 years or so and I am sure there are others here that feel the same.

First of all nobody can predict the future Motive. That being said while the game is still being worked on, Massive as well as ubisoft have stated that there will be new content for the game released regularly some free, and some not, so your statement that everyone will get bored of it is not a fact it is an opinion.

However lets think about your hypothetical situation where in a month or two people have stopped playing Motive. Does EGO have to cancel servers? No, Does EGO lose any invested money? No. It seems that the more we try and have a Division for this game the more people inside EGO not currently playing the game with us oppose it, because of this I am becoming more put off by the politics present in this community.

When I joined this group I was informed that this was a community not a competitive clan. Currently a substantial group of people are playing The Division, in your community and they would like to be recognized.

All we are asking for is another little button in a drop down menu and a little graphic to identify us as being members of the Division. Thats it, if there is going to be this much politics and discussion over this small matter then I dont see a bright future ahead.

Hey everyone! First post back on the forums in a minute! Anyways to the point...The Division in itself is an amazing game and myself and everyone else playing at the moment have a blast just shooting the breeze, playing mission or DZ or even just raging about the rampant hackers(Which has been dwindling down now since they've started handing out bans). We've been able to recruit a lot of people just from messing around in the Dark Zone and I feel that yeah...this game does have a few problems but the positives for sure outweigh the negatives. The new people and continuing members already active playing the game are absolutely amazing. Within this game I've felt my sense of community within eGO returning ever since I came back from my brake.

but in a month or two everyone will be bored of it and move on to their divisions leaving EGO leadership with a division they have to dissolve.

How did you get to that conclusion? The Division is still brand new and not even in year into content. We've only had 2 big content patches so far and many more are to follow it throughout the year. With the way Massive is working on gaining back everyone's trust I have no doubt we'll see a mass influx of players coming back for new patches(They'll come back anyway due to yeah...new content).

Last thing. With the amount of solo players that run the DZ and I have to give a big shout out to Frag and Rilla for really stepping it up and pushing to get people in their groups and see what we're all about. They've recruited many people so far and are still actively working on it in game! The opportunity for recruitment to the community is immense with this game is basically what i'm trying to say. With all of us kitted out for the most part, it's very easy for us to help out new members and player prospects reach a goal and have fun at the same time. Once they get that invite to our DZ runs they get hooked just by the stupid antics we usually are doing whether it's mass rouging or hacker hunting(My favorite). Give us a chance!

Sorry , i will try and get our players to idle and go mute 24/7 has to make our channel look full all day long......

Also, i would love to borrow your crystal ball , i could really use the next power ball numbers.

We've read the points for and against and will take both into consideration. Thanks for not letting the drama over flow.

I think the current TeamSpeak numbers are a bit skewed considering some eGO members play the game but not in the specified channel, and other members have found people to play with outside of eGO. I can vouch that a lot of our members who really got into the Division have been playing with players and communities that have been more supportive of the game.

I really enjoyed playing with people from various divisions in the specified Division TS channels, but I think most of our members decide to play games with their friends and usually in their comfy division channels instead of the open game channels at the top of TS. I've been playing with some other friends in other places more frequently, but I haven't forgotten about some really cool dudes who have been doing their best to play with any pubs or eGO members from every other division that they come across.

It's nice to see how devoted and passionate the current Division players in eGO are to both the game and the organization. I'd just hate to see this game slip through eGO's hands as I really think it's going to be around for a while. And this game has the opportunity to be a great recruiting tool and even host to multi-squad events in the future.

Concerning the squabbling that's been going on, it'd be hypocritical of me to tell others not to be so negative but I get the impression that some people are bringing too many of their personal bad experiences in the game to a topic that really comes down to one big question: "What does eGO have to lose by officially supporting the Division?"

You are correct stormy that some play in other channels with friends. We do give the opportunity though for members of ego and pubs to come join us in the channels for The Division. There are members that play from BF, CS, PSC, MC, and others that have joined in the fun. The game and company making it are pretty new to doing such a massive game and work on updates daily and each week to make the game play enjoyable and on par with other games. The game is mostly a survival type game and players can group up to do missions, incursion, and dark zone play. Each have various levels of actions. On many players friends lists there are at least 20-40 players. Some like frag, fixit, duce, mental and others that play 24/7 have many more on their friends lists. Some of those players come into teamspeak and have been directed to sign up and check out our site. The only downfall is if someone wants to join eGO as a member there is no application for other games anymore and would have to sign up as BF, Source, MC, or WOW divisions. We are able to text chat and voice chat in game with players as well. The company are working on eliminating hackers but they will be there just like any other game. The future of the game includes more incursions, and more game modes and campaigns for those with the dlc content. Your true other have tried to cut down the game for simple issues that are being fixed or that they cant handle hard teamwork style play. There is nothing to lose with supporting the game as its own division. There is no cost to the community and would only require a sign up for the game or general games. Players already come to TS and our website and member have been telling more to come check us out so really we could gain more visibility with gaming companies and players. Some that have signed up also have other games that we play as well. Artimus and those dedicated to this game are discussing the future of the game and how it will run within eGO. Otherwise we dont need to fight or squabble in the forums. We are here to have fun no matter what game. im also glad to see many that post updates and news which help to inform players of what is going on.

I think we're on the same page, Raven. I hope the Division crew keeps up the good work!
