Everyone's favorite McSkillet posted a video about this. They somehow found a way to make it to where it has to be a real phone number that is linked to your mobile autenticated account. Not sure how it works entirely though.

Yep, its pretty much that, you can't use a temp phone number for your steam auth so you are forced to use a real number for Prime MM
