Bad Company 2 Need eG & eGO Assistance to Increase the eGO BF-BC2-HM Server Status

G'Day Mates.

The thing is that I have noticed a worrisome decline in the status of eGO's Battlefield Bad Company 2 Heavy Metal Server the Last 1-2 weeks. That is something that makes me sad since I love this old game and care for it to uphold a good standard for future existence in the name of Edge Gamers (eGO).

The reason is that even though we've got some new players (which are good), unfortunately there are an increase of players that seems to enjoy the liberty to push the boundaries and braking to the eGO BFBC2 server rules. This has a negative impact on the gaming in general and might be a reason for our regular players to get annoyed and leave eGO's BFBC2 server and not play so often as they like to do.

So I'm asking for some help of all eG & eGO administrators who have the Battlefield Bad Company 2 game to connect to the eGO BF-BC2-HM server now and then to check up on that players obey the eGO rules in the way to increase the status of eGO BFBC2 server. If there are players that not respect eGO server rules, please act in the way you as a administrator think is appropriate for the situation.

You are right on Wolf. New players often do not know rules or test admins about rules. Admins that have BC2 should try and check in on the server occasionally. Keep up the great work Wolf.

Nice to have you back SlickDevel and I know that you do your best as well as Sikonite and StellarExtenze to keep up a good status in eGO BFBC2 server, for that I'm very grateful.

Together with my eGO admin friends I will strive to hold up a high level of server status according to eGO BFBC2 server rules, to carry through a nice and friendly gaming atmosphere in favour for all players.

Here's a thought: check the server chat log if you have a few minutes. Players will call out for an admin from time to time, and logging in for just a few minutes to clear out the riff-raff is not too hard.

I use to be quite active on the BC2 server, but been having an issue where my ping in general (not just in-game, but just with anything I have connected to the internet) spikes more frequently then normal when I'm playing that game.

If I can, I'll see if I can hop back into it

Unfortunatly work and other facters prevent me from being on any other days except wed and thurs.
I do try to be on most of the day and ur right. I usually havta deal with sorting and cleaning out the riff raff when I first go in. And yes, the new players who think theyre playing a dm match r terribly annoying and it sometimes causes me to leave. But I am greatful for da noobs as they keep the games I luv going

Lightning took out my computer a week ago Monday, so I was out of commission for several days. I'm up and running again and will return tomorrow afternoon/evening.

A note to the higher-ups to add on to what Wolf has said- Over the past few weeks I haven't exactly been popular in that server. I'm polite but I don't put up with nonsense from the noobs/pubs who want to push the boundaries. I've noticed the difference as well.

It's sad to hear about your accident regarding your computer and the lightning. I have 2 (+ 1 minor) APC Performance SurgeArrest with 8 Outlets, Phone, Coax & Network Protection divided on my computers, monitors, printer & router as well as TV & blu-ray player as electronic equipment protection and that is something I strongly recommend you to invest in to protect your electronic equipment as an assurance.

Popularity comes in third, we are there as Admins to uphold a high standard in the server as well as playing and have fun together with the others, that's whats matters.
