I was planning to buying Overwatch through g2a but don't know whether to buy it before or after it releases for a better deal. Will the price of it be more or less when it is released than the current price? https://www.g2a.com/overwatch-origins-edition

From what I can tell, Blizzard intends on selling the Overwatch Origins Edition for $59.99

The origins edition just adds various cosmetic items (skins for heroes, portraits, etc).

If you're looking for just the game without all the hubbub, Its $39.99 on BattleNet

Unless it's during a sale like a year after release, or *possibly* around Christmas this December, I don't think the Origins Edition price will drop further then what G2A has at the moment since it's 36% off there.

You could wait and see if they add the base game to G2A, but so far doesn't look like it.

Thanks for the response. I didn't see the basic edition for $39.99. Still might wait to see after it releases to see if the origins edition goes below $39.99 as more sellers get game keys.

I'd say wait a week or so after the release and see how the price looks around then. From what I've seen on G2a, new game prices usually drop within the first couple or days or so
