Bad Company 2 Server Issues

The server was restarted yesterday and im looking at those who have reported lag on the server via chat or in the forums here. Along with the server restart i also restarted the plugins as well. Please post if you are having lag issues or connection issues. I have been looking at players IP traceroutes from the server itself and each have been fine.

Tried to get in last night, but server was greyed out. Quitting and restarting the game cured the problem.

Tried again this afternoon, and couldn't get in. All but one server (Cops) were greyed out

Trying now (10:30 pm Central) and can't get it fixed. Everything is gone but Cops.

Not sure if it's my end or what, but I just went to join the server, but it was grayed out/not-clickable on the server list, yet both GameMe and GameTracker show it as active.

Tried restarting the game and Steam, but no luck.

I was able to connect earlier this week, but for some reason can't at the moment.

EDIT: And also according to both GameMe and GameTracker, it has 17 players in it

One way to find it is to check the "History" should be stored there. Another way is to go to filter options on server browser type in eGO hit search.

This has been the problem for a while. The server IS up, restarting the game works sometimes, rebooting your PC works too. a real pain and seldom a full server because of it.

I've tried the history tab as well, and a all-server search. no luck there either.

Been checking this and it seems to come and go, sometimes it is just "greyed" out, sometimes it is not there at all, logging out then back in brought it back for me. But a little later our server was gone all together.

This has been going on for far too long. I wonder if EA/DICE is aware of the issue. I can normally log out and then back in and the servers would show as active again. It took 6 logins just now for servers to appear online. Two weeks now that this problem's been going on

Just to clarify: not being able to connect is definitely not an eGO server issue, bat the the lag spikes and crashes have been more common than ever since sponsors/hosts were changed.

Hello everyone:

Update after last nights disconnect of players and it lost connection to the back end i had the host NFO change our server to another box. As of this am the server has been running fine and showing on the list just fine. If anyone has any issues please post here again what you are experiencing

After I came back form breakfast this morning I did experience a short period of lag at one point. During the time that you were inactive you had a ping of 708 or so, mine at the time was 149 an others were similar to mine or a bit higher.

Are you in Connecticut?

that is happened to me a few times. restarted the game and it was fine. I think it is a network issue of some sort....

Everything has been good since the server was replaced but at 7:20 pm Eastern connection was lost to all playing. Returned again after one minute

Ok ill keep an eye on it guys let me know what times your having issues and any other details of what happened or what you experienced. Seemed better connected after the server move

Not sure if it is Lag or what, but I seem to die more than others.
That server hates me.
But I still love it.

The servers were having latency issues around the time you posted, but from what I can tell seems to be good to go now
