Hey everyone I'm new to the battlefield setup never played it or even concidered playing it in my life until a few days ago, I joined the server with only 7 people online and I got nonstop rekt lol can I get some advice or can someone add me and show me the ropes?

bullet drop and player movement are a couple things you'll want to practice with/keep in mind
Also, something which helps teammates alot is spotting the enemy - When looking at an enemy, depending on the distance, hit Q and it'll mark them with a red icon on the map and above their character (may need to hit it several times)
Sometimes the spotting feature may glitch or not work, and a few times I've found that switching weapons and trying again marked the target.

Ha, I started to write this huge post about Battlefield 4, however, I noticed that you were talking about BC2. I would suggest going through the campaign, if you haven't yet. It'll show you some of the weapon mechanics, not to mention that the BC2 single player campaign is actually really good to try.
Ok really that one thank u because I was trying everything to mark a enemy that was sniping from the trees and couldn't figure it out on my life lol

The test range is your best friend right now..learn the weapons you have then pick one for each kit or just run one kit and go until you get all the unlocks, then move to the next kit, repeat. Vehicles with good drivers are also a big help in getting your unlocks, squad up, and have fun

BC2 doesn't have a test range far as I know

When I pick a new weapon to carry I try to get into the server when no one is there and use buildings in the main base to check accuracy/spread and climb on auto so I can find the best rate of fire. I love Infantry as it gives more ammo than you can use, great for us bad shots!
Don't stand or run in the middle of a big field! Build a situation awareness. Don't pick a down the bore battle with a sniper unless you have a desire to respawn.
